Job Description

  • Lead and mentor a team of fullstack developers, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Maintain and enhance legacy systems to ensure continued functionality and performance.
  • Make informed decisions regarding the architecture, design, and implementation of complex software solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and timelines.
  • Plan and execute system migrations and upgrades as needed.
  • Ensure backward compatibility and smooth integration with new systems.
  • Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments. 
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
  • Design, implement, and manage data storage solutions using DynamoDB and Redshift.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
  • Optimize database performance and query efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience in a leadership roles with hands on experience as Fullstack Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of Python and its frameworks.
  • Proficiency in React.js or Javascript and its core principles.
  • Experience with cloud technologies and services (AWS preferred, but Azure or Google Cloud Platform are a plus as well).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a team.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices is a plus.
  • Experience with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL.
  • Experience querying data warehouses, ideally Redshift.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools.

What about languages? 

You will need excellent written and verbal English for clear and effective communication with the team. 

How much experience must I have? 

  • In order to thrive in this role, you must have at least 5+ years of experience as a Fullstack Software Engineer working with Python and React.
