Job Description**:


We're looking for a Data Engineer, who is dynamic and enthusiastic and has solid experience in Business Intelligence, to join an agile and high-performing team with excellent professionals and culture.

We have a staff of over 120 high-level consultants, technicians, and professionals, distributed across Latam, the US, Europe, and our headquarters in Uruguay.


Requirements:

  • Advanced student or graduate in Information Technologyrelated fields.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in consulting, providing Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Experience in relational databases
  • SQL (advanced knowledge).
  • Experience in creating and maintaining ETL processes.
  • Experience making advanced data transformations with Python or other tools.
  • Experience in designing, analyzing, and implementing dashboards using visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.

We value:

  • Experience in data analysis and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, QlikSense, Quicksight, Superset).
  • Experience using cloud environments in data processes (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Nonrelational databases expertise (MongoDB, ElasticSearch).
  • Experience with the Pentaho Suite.
  • Knowledge in Machine Learning.

Role responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Business Intelligence and/or Business Analytics solutions.
  • Understand and analyze specified requirements to accurately estimate project timelines and potential challenges.
  • Propose improvements or alternative approaches to defined guidelines (technical or functional) validated by project stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively and closely with client counterparts and Intermedia project leads.
  • Actively collaborate with diverse teams to execute tasks as planned, utilizing tools such as relational databases
  • SQL (advanced knowledge), ETL processes (creation and maintenance), advanced data transformations with Python or other tools, and design, analysis, and implementation of dashboards using visualization tools.
  • Improvements technical skills to adapt to market changes and requirements.
  • Promote the team's technical growth, demonstrating initiative and proactivity in proposing relevant ideas and enhancements within your area of expertise.

Office Hours:

  • Fulltime availability from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm (We offer flextime).
