We are looking for a skilled and experienced **Technical Project Manager** to manage the execution of different projects by defining the strategy and understanding the business contexts, needs and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You will need to coordinate manage the project in charge with SCRUM methodologies ensuring the outcomes are met by setting clear expectations and guidelines.
**What you will be doing**:
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously and ensure projects are completed successfully and on schedule.
- Acts as the point of escalation for risks, issues, and obstacles raised by project teams, ensuring action items are clearly defined, assigned to team members, and resolved expeditiously.
- Flexibility to adjust project scopes, schedules, and resources as needed, based on company and project demands.
- Coordinate with product owner with any shift in priorities due to unanticipated changes or new developments and communicating any changes to the team in scrum meetings.
- Developing required project plans including detailed timelines, milestones and status reports.
- Oversee the software release process from documenting plans and schedule for release to creating corresponding release documentation.
- Maintain knowledge of current modern data technology in order to guide and mentor and collaborate with team members to articulate best practices and improvements to customers on how to best leverage their modern data platform.
- Collaborate with the technical teams to build Epics, Stories, and Tasks in order to mature and improve our customer’s data platform. Delegate to and coach Architects and Engineers and ensure successful and timely delivery of these Epics.
- Proactively solving problems and initiating necessary collaboration within the teams (anticipate, identify and actively resolve issues).
- Develop strong relationships with sponsors and stakeholders, keep them informed of progress and expected outcomes, host leadership discussions, and explore and identify new opportunities to bring value to our customers.
- Measure and track team and individual KPIs, coach individual team members to help them reach their potential and improve their performance, which supports the overall team goals and objectives.
- Overseeing the weekly sprint process with product owners. Ensure all tasks are assigned to the appropriate team members and ensure clear and realistic goals and the overall quality of project delivery, ongoing performance and ensuring client satisfaction is fully met.
- Assisting with meeting coordination and facilitation for cross-functional teams as required for each project.
- Manage and resolve any issues that arise during the development process.
- Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in Product Management, Technical Management, IT Architecture, Customer Relationship Management, Project Management and/or Delivery Management.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Professional track record of creating, challenging, and improving processes and procedures.
- Highly organized.
- Strategic thinker.
- Problem-solver.
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed for client visits, team workshops, and strategic planning sessions
- Strong knowledge of MySQL, Java (springboot) and AWS
- Experience in project management with IT product-related deliverables.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g.: Scrum, Kanban, or other), Scrum Master certification or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proficiency in conveying complex ideas and technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Experience with tools Jira/Confluence are a must.
- Knowledge in risk management, stakeholder management, and change management is a plus.
- Ability to work independently.
- Capacity to adapt to changing project requirements and environments. Excellent written and verbal English for clear and effective communication is a must
