Travel was a $3 trillion industry in 2019 and is poised for a big rebound very soon. And Online travel is the fastest growing and innovative component. Sabre’s Global Online team is responsible for looking after the needs of our Global Online Travel Agency (GOTA) partners. We are looking for a person with strong industry knowledge, technical skills, client facing experience and product expertise to join the team.

**What will you achieve?**
- In this role as a Product and Tech Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to lead the Technical Sales and consulting engagements with our clients (OTAs) during both the pre-sales and post sales phases.
- Be the technical face of Sabre and partner with the commercial Account Director to drive growth of the account’s business
- You will showcase the Sabre Products and APIs that best align with the needs of each Online Travel Agency - Lead Technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, proof of concepts, etc., to identify the right products and workflows to grow the customer’s business
- Work closely with client’s development teams to help them integrate Sabre’s products into their technology stack. Support developers and answer technical questions during and after the integration efforts.
- Understand your client's business and technical needs, the competitive market landscape and then collaborate with Sabre’s Product and Technology teams to bring new solutions to your assigned clients
- Quantify the value proposition of Sabre’s solutions with clients
- Create documentation, whitepapers, blogs, etc., to support the needs of the developer community. Participate in workshops and deliver training sessions.
- Provide project management guidance and oversight of key technical engagements to ensure successful implementations

**Job Requirements**:
**Qualifications and Education Requirements**

**Must Have Skills**:

- At least 5 years of experience in the Travel industry in a technical or product role
- Proficient in Travel industry terminology and GDS (Global Distribution System) functionality
- Expert knowledge of travel agency processes and operational standards
- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in API / webservices integration (SOAP, REST)
- Ability to identify client’s business and technical requirements and create Business Requirements Documents
- Good customer facing, presentation, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly articulate with ability to connect with a wide variety of audiences at all levels within and outside of Sabre

**Nice To Have Skills**:

- Experience in an Online Travel Agency or any eCommerce business environment
- Experience using tools such as SoapUI, Postman
- Competency in training technical teams on functional and business processes
