OVERVIEW

Due to some exciting growth here at Sportradar we are looking for a Trading Analyst to join our Pre-match Odds Service (PMOS) team based in our Central Montevideo office.

The Pre-match odds team is responsible for the creation of pre-match odds for the majority of the sports offered by Sportradar. Pre-match is the term corresponding to the initial odds for a match up until the start of the match. The analyst will be responsible for creating and inserting these initial odds into the system. As a trading analyst you will need to analyse the situation of the teams/players so the corresponding odds can be assigned. These odds need to be in line with the global market so that our clients receive the highest quality odds.

In addition to this, the team is also responsible for the core Outright betting offer for Sportradar. Outright betting is another form of pre-match betting, but it includes the odds for the result of an entire tournament rather than a single match or event (eg Champions League Winner or Wimbledon Winner) and the odds for these outrights are updated throughout the tournament.

As a trading analyst you will be responsible for the creation of pre-match odds, outright odds as well as supporting our 1st level support team with customer queries when required.

THE CHALLENGE
- Experience working in a similar role within sports or betting industry would be advantageous
- Good knowledge of the most popular sports (Europe, South America, UK and US)
- Understanding of odds correlation between betting markets would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal English
- Enjoy working with numbers and statistics
- Ability to work under pressure
- Flexibility to work with shift-based patterns
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
- Ability to take immediate action when required
- A highly self-motivated team player, able to work with new teams
