About our Client

Our Client is a serverless infrastructure company that has built a global state management platform for web developers. Their mission is to fundamentally change how software is built on the Internet and who gets to build it. They're looking for people who are passionate about improving the development experience for frontend engineers and who have strong opinions on what kinds of tools and workflows will remove barriers to getting things done.

The early team at our client has a lot of experience running large systems at scale but they have a growing infrastructure footprint which means that they need to hire a dedicated lead to run point on SRE/operations. They want someone with the wisdom and experience to build mature operational processes for the future but who is also comfortable "getting their hands dirty" writing code and building systems in a startup environment.

Management experience isn't a must-have but there's also an opportunity to grow and build a world-class SRE team at the company as they grow.

**Responsibilities**:

- Build and maintain global cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Automate and maintaining state of the art monitoring and logging tools.
- Develop traffic infrastructure for efficiently and securely routing requests.
- Managing release process, versioning and CI/CD.
- Establishing reliability guidelines and ensuring systems meet our goals around durability, availability and performance.

**Base Salary Range**:$165,000 to $225,000+
