TEAM DESCRIPTION
The current team carries a wide breadth of functional knowledge across airline and distribution products, along with deep industry knowledge. This role is more about creating end-to-end solutions to complex problems rather than relying on a particular expertise in a given area. We break silos by valuing and fostering cross-team collaboration, stakeholder inclusion and creative thinking.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
What will you achieve?
- End to end oversight and responsibility for designing functionally and technically sound solutions to complex business problems in the Airline IT and Distribution spaces
- Participate in the review and response to complex sales opportunities and RFPs
- Engage customers (internal and external) in business, strategy, and ROI-based discussions to understand how we can help deliver value
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, consulting and commercial teams to develop compelling solutions that resonate with our customers
- Interact with key customer business and technology experts to understand the core business needs, current technology employed, and articulate how Sabre’s capabilities can address those needs

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Must Have Skills:_
- 4+ years of experience working with Airline/Distribution technology, with at least 2+ years of experience in a market-facing roles (e.g. engaging with customers and prospects)
- Abundant curiosity to delve into unfamiliar areas and quickly become proficient
- Experience designing and documenting complex solutions across multiple touchpoints
- Ability to present a compelling solution to a business need that is grounded in technology
- Strong understanding of the full functional value of the SabreSonic suite of products and how they integrate with other systems
- Ownership mindset of individual and team objectives; with both tactical and strategic thinking to ensure measurable results
- Ability to work independently and resolve professional, technical or operational project challenges in a creative, methodical manner
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented, highly collaborative virtual environment that is geographically distributed
- Ability to successfully navigate in a multi-stakeholder environment where there are often competing priorities, goals and challenges across our diverse set of internal and external customers and partners
- Excellent self-organization skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize several projects in parallel
- Strong business acumen and situational awareness
- Must have excellent written and verbal English communications skills, and be a strong public speaker comfortable presenting or demonstrating technology in front of large groups at all levels of an organization
- Proficient in Microsoft Office use for presentations and written communication
- Nice To Have Skills:_
- API literacy, web services, etc. from a user and integration perspective
- Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related fields
- Experience with Full-Service Carriers, Low-Cost Carriers or Travel Agencies
- Knowledge of emerging trends in travel retailing and e-commerce (such as AI/ML, dynamic offers, etc.)
- Tech-savvy, ability to engage with Engineering colleagues to drive technical solutions
- Proficient in Microsoft Visio
