Main Purpose:
Puma Energy is seeking an experienced Treasury Analyst with cash management and treasury operations experience. Primary responsibilities will include management of the daily cash process, payments and funding & treasury reporting.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:

- Work experience within Treasury required (more than 2 years of experience in similar tasks)
- Knowledge of banking/finance procedures required
- Ability to prioritize, organize, optimally manage time and work independently with little direction and oversight to meet deadlines.
- Capacity to perform tasks requiring a high level of analytical ability, strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills.
- Self-motivated, flexible, hands-on approach and able to work in a fast paced, multi-task environment.
- High degree of professionalism and tact in taking care of internal and external business partners.
- Strong eye for business and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Fluent English (written/verbal), any other languages would be an asset
- Ability to be flexible, handle stressful situations and work to firm deadlines
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft products (Excel, Word)
- Responsible for daily cash management operations for the Americas Supply entities, including daily cash position, management of bank accounts, accounts payables and accounts receivables
- Support the short-term cash flow forecasting activities for the Americas Supply entities by partnering with Trade Finance, Operations and the Latam affiliates to forecast timing and amounts of future cash flows, ensure proper funding of accounts based on forecasted activity and work to improve forecast reliability
- Upload all daily payments and transfers through the Treasury systems, ensuring all payments are checked, signed and submitted to the banks.
- Handle bank investigations
- Supervise aged debt positions, investigate non-receipt of funds with internal teams across all departments (operations, legal, insurance, freight, procurement, etc.)
- Act as backup to the Treasury Lead
