**You have**:

- A degree in an international development or relevant discipline with relevant experience in policy analysis or research management. A Master’s degree is an asset.
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing and speaking) and fluency in Spanish.
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in the field of research analysis or management or international development.
- An in-depth understanding of strategic intelligence.
- An enhanced knowledge of the policy and partner landscapes of the region.

**You are**:

- Competent in researching, analyzing, interpreting, and synthesizing information.
- A skilled communicator with great interpersonal skills characterized by collegiality, tact, and diplomacy.
- Able to work under pressure with mínimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
- Able to work effectively in a team with other stakeholders while showing an innovative and enterprising spirit.

**You are interested in**:

- Providing regional analysis and insight necessary for the coordinated advancement of IDRC's regional presence towards implementing Strategy 2030.
- Identifying and communicating emerging trends, opportunities, and risks for the work of IDRC in the region.
- Representing IDRC at various events to gather intelligence and consult with stakeholders.
- Supporting knowledge sharing and communication strategies by linking strategic learnings and information with key stakeholders.
- Analyzing and interpreting technical research results to develop reports, policy briefs and briefing notes for various audiences.
- Joining an organization that values and models diversity, inclusion, and equity.
