As the **Agricultural Services Manager - Trinidad Based,** you will be responsible for achieving targets on volume, quality and factory landed cost through efficient operations, continuous improvements and benchmarking, to ensure compliance and competitive sustainable supply.

**A DAY IN THE LIFE **
- Responsible for the overall management of the direct sourcing operation of the raw materials in scope, including the physical buying when needed, effective usage of all available resources and leading improvement projects on existing sourcing, namely projects aiming at meeting our volumes & quality norms for the raw materials sourced.
- Launch and drive all Nestlé agricultural initiatives, tools and projects as required to ensure the achievement of all targets and KPIs (cost, quality, volumes, people), in line with the business priorities, inclusive of developing and implementing strategies to continuously improve the quality and quantity of fresh milk/ coffee through data analysis.
- Execute the market / region strategies for the direct sourcing of the raw materials required, in line with Nestlé policies and business needs, inclusive of developing new sourcing as per business needs.
- Ensure and develop the connection with the rural community: farmers, associations, industry, government, etc., inclusive of launching and driving all initiatives aiming at developing sustainable agriculture and farmers, thus contributing to sustainable rural development.
- Ensure and develop the compliance of the direct sourcing operations with Nestlé Responsible Sourcing principles, inclusive of managing the financial budget and spend of the Agricultural Services department and allocate funds appropriately based on internally agreed priorities.
- Lead, coach, and train team members to ensure achievement of departmental objectives and personal development.
- Lead the overall end-to-end management and service levels of general services in NJM inclusive of contractor management (Contract, Service & Budget management)

**WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL**
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Agribusiness / Agri-Tech / Business Management, or related field. Master's degree in Animal Science preferred.
- At least 3 years prior experience in a similar position
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
- Experience in stakeholder management, finance, and cross-functional team collaboration.
- In-depth knowledge of raw material direct sourcing operations and quality management systems.
- Expertise in analysing local competition, risk assessment, food safety, hygiene, and quality assurance in raw material production.
