We are** **seeking a highly qualified professional to join our Risk and Compliance department

As a JR KYC Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements by verifying the identity of our clients and assessing potential risks associated with their accounts. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the financial services industry and contribute to the integrity of our organization.

**What will you be doing?**
- Conduct thorough KYC checks on new clients according to established policies and procedures.
- Collect and verify documentation such as identification records, financial statements, and other relevant information.
- Analyze client information and assess potential risks based on established criteria.
- Monitor and review existing client profiles regularly to ensure they remain compliant with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve KYC-related issues and escalate complex cases when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of KYC activities and documentation for audit purposes.
- Incident analysis and database
- Stay updated on regulatory developments and industry best practices related to KYC and anti-money laundering (AML) requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Advanced students in Law studies, with a strong understanding of legal frameworks and regulatory compliance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently under mínimal supervision.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound judgments.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus, especially Portuguese.

This position is a part time job (6 hours a day) and we work under a hybrid model.
