We are searching for a Project Manager. The role will lead, facilitate, coach, and drive delivery across the teams including the following:
Establishing a new way of working - lean, effective, and based on industry best practices (e.g. a blend of scrum, scaled agile, etc.)
Establishing clear roles & responsibilities
Eliciting some requirements and documenting them for the team (e.g. organizing a backlog or suggesting use of epics vs features vsuser stories)
Facilitating workshops
Building roadmaps
Managing vendors
Coaching teams (e.g. which best practices could work best)
Collaboration across teams
Leveraging project management tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
Identifying opportunities for re-use, sharing, pattern, standards
Steering committee level presentation
Bringing organizational skills without overburdening / bureaucratizing the project
Scheduling and facilitating effective meetings with real-time meeting minutes and takeaways / addition to appropriate backlog
**Essential Duties**:
Manage overall execution of projects, optimize the flow of value through the teams, facilitate the prioritization of all work ensuringalignment to the strategic roadmap & manage the program backlog that feeds work to the teams.
Help Product Owners, Project Mgrs, & the Tech Lead develop robust project charters, solutions, generate resource and infrastructureestimates & ensure we have the “right team” for each project
Track & report velocity, costs, roadmap, risks, issues & overall progress against project requirements
Manage overall execution of projects including scope, schedule, budget, quality, benefits, communication, stakeholders, risks, issues,etc.
Maintain responsibility for vendor procurement, expectation setting, coordination, and invoicing
Partner with teammates to plan testing (i.e. Functional, Regression, Integration, UAT, Performance, etc.) and execute with the goal oflow waste/no-waste
Coordinate all technical and change management activities (training, documentation, etc.) between project resources (both internal andexternal)
Inspire resources with limited time to get the work done and stay on track
Leverage the light-touch Odyssey PMO process for project portfolio governance
Maximize the velocity and value of team delivery, primarily via Agile & by understanding the individuals involved & helping the teamwork better together.
Help the team develop robust quarterly sprint plans by leveraging Big Room Planning
Facilitate thoughtful & nimble tactical assessment of alternative solutions
Ensure known unknowns are called out & appropriately project managed
Set realistic target dates for Releases based on the team’s input.
Facilitate all agile ceremonies including Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospectives.
Remove roadblocks for the team
Coach & help ensure team delivery vs best practice including Ownership of Epics, Clear & powerful Acceptance Criteria, Definition ofReady, Definition of Done, generating right-sized user stories, anticipating delivery risks, documenting as they go.
Own successful end-to-end transition of projects to Production support.
Optimize & administer the teams’ project management toolkit (e.g Sharepoint, Teams Azure DevOps)
Manage Tech vendor procurement, expectation setting, on/off boarding, delivery tracking & invoicing.
Raise the team’s agile maturity level in requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment.

Applies the best mix of Agile and Plan-Driven (Waterfall) by project type
