**Communications and Content Associate**
- Contract (6 months / Part-time / Remote)_

**The Role**:
The **Communications and Content Associate** will be responsible for reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and collaborating closely with the **Design Lead**. Their main role will be to provide support on our re-branding rollout set for March 2024. This includes leading communication strategies, content creation and marketing activities, aimed at growing our community and establishing Grain as thought leader with a distinctive brand voice.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work alongside our Design Lead and Marketing Analyst to craft a communicational strategy for our new branding that considers the variety of stakeholders in our market.
- Create UX copy and drive tone consistency in our tool.
- Integrate within the team and own content for specific tasks that could be daily, monthly, or quarterly, such as: social media updates, monitoring. campaign progress, coordination of PR, creation of an industry specific press list, etc.
- Assist in developing and executing content ideas for Grain presence at the upcoming industry events.
- Managing brand exposure in 3rd party outlets, highlighting key outputs and deliverables across our communication channels

**Experience**:

- 3 years of experience in communication strategies
- Experience in designing a strong brand voice that welcomes and engages the community
- Experience in the execution of copywriting tasks for media campaigns and communication channels (i.e articles, bulletins, scripts, and copy)
- 5+ years of experience working on social media platforms and creating social media content (e.g. LinkedIn)

**Desired but not required**:

- A creative mind, a keen eye, and a hunger to empower a more sustainable world through creative channels
- Interest in studying and learning about the science and technologies related to Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR)/ Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM)
- Experience working in projects with social impact
- Experience defining metrics to measure the success of different communication initiatives and implementing insights based on data gathered.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

Pay: $U80,000.00 per month
