**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures to ensure accurate inventory tracking and control.
- Monitor inventory levels and analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and potential issues.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams to forecast inventory needs and ensure adequate stock levels to meet customer demand.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to verify accuracy of inventory records and reconcile discrepancies.
- Optimize inventory storage and layout to maximize space utilization and minimize handling costs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of inventory items and negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
- Utilize inventory management software systems to track inventory movements, generate reports, and streamline inventory-related processes.
- Implement inventory optimization techniques such as ABC analysis, just-in-time inventory, and safety stock management to minimize carrying costs and improve inventory turnover.
- Train and supervise inventory control staff to ensure compliance with inventory management procedures and standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in inventory management operations.
**Qualifications**:
- Basic knowledge of inventory management principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Proficiency in inventory management software systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
