Main Objective:

As a Senior Software Developer at BASF Services Americas S.R.L., you will play a key role in developing and maintaining innovative digital products that drive business growth and customer satisfaction. With a focus on both front-end and back-end components, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure digital solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Estimate time and resource requirements for work packages and develop and maintain front-end and back-end components of digital products according to user functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with product teams and internal/external partners to implement, optimize, and adapt solutions to changing conditions.
  • Conduct extensive testing to ensure quality, scalability, performance, and security of developed solutions and provide support in resolving issues.
  • Identify, extract, model, integrate, and present data from various internal and external sources.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps as a central development tool to manage code repositories and CI/CD pipelines, as well as document development processes.
  • Participate and contribute to development communities at BASF, sharing experiences and knowledge to foster a culture of innovation and transparency.

Requirements:

  • Education: Graduates or advanced students of Software Engineering, Computer Science, Telematics Engineering, or related fields.
  • Working Experience: Around 5 years of relevant hands-on development experience implementing integration solutions, preferably with MuleSoft and API Management Solutions.
  • Language Skills: Advanced language proficiency in English.
  • Valued Technical Skills: Advanced technical skills in MuleSoft or similar products, packaged COTS solutions for ERP, CRM, e-commerce, or mobile, and implementing multiple technical integration project SDLCs.
  • Soft Skills: Advanced analytical thinking and complex problem-solving, knowledge sharing, and effective communication.
