Job Overview

As a Vendor Procurement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the operational efficiency of the Altisource Field Services Business Unit. Your responsibilities will encompass the following:

Vendor Sourcing & Certification: Identify and evaluate potential vendors, guiding them through the certification process while focusing on performance enhancement and cost efficiency. Vendor Performance Oversight: Assess the overall performance of the vendor network, implement performance improvement strategies, and initiate corrective measures for vendors that do not meet expectations. Demand Forecasting: Engage in demand forecasting activities to ascertain sourcing requirements that will support superior client service delivery. Vendor Disengagement: Manage the termination and replacement of vendors that fail to meet performance standards, thereby ensuring improved service level agreements for clients.

A strong ability to work independently while also demonstrating effective collaboration within a team environment. Proven experience in daily communication with the vendor network regarding order statuses, overdue orders, and task reallocation based on client needs. Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, with the capability to craft compelling narratives and provide visual data analysis through professional presentations, pivot tables, and data visualizations. Exceptional ability to thrive under pressure, manage multiple projects concurrently, and exhibit outstanding interpersonal skills, including effective meeting facilitation, verbal and written communication, and strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
