Lead Graphic Artist

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Visual Designer to join our creative team at Trafilea. In this role, you will work closely with the design department to improve the quality of visual materials across various platforms, enhancing the team's production capabilities and reporting insights.

Your primary responsibilities will include developing branding initiatives, organizing special events, and producing assets for multiple channels, such as retail and promotional media. Your artistic vision and expertise will be crucial in delivering visually striking and effective designs that engage our target market and reinforce our brand identity.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee design projects from initial concept through to final execution, ensuring high standards are met.
• Collaborate on a wide array of design materials, including emails, store signage, social media graphics, landing pages, packaging, and more.
• Pay close attention to detail and strive for excellence in all deliverables.
• Utilize graphic design software to enhance images, typography, and layouts.
• Employ problem-solving abilities and a comprehensive range of design solutions to work effectively with the creative team across different media.
• Generate innovative concepts to effectively communicate ideas and promote products/services.
• Enhance user experience in digital products, focusing on usability and functionality.
• Maintain brand consistency across all marketing initiatives.
• Communicate openly with marketing and design teams to ensure project timelines are met.
• Stay updated with industry trends and leverage the latest tools and techniques.
• Identify requirements for guidelines, concepts, or any other relevant information necessary for successful graphic proposals.
• Create assets while adhering to established creative and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Designer, Graphic Designer, or in a similar capacity.
• Experience in fast-paced environments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of Arabic (Levant/Gulf accents) is also required.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
• Results-oriented, proactive, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player.
• Extensive experience in digital production, including e-commerce, UI, and applications.
• Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Desirable knowledge of InDesign, After Effects, and Spark AR.
• Strong aesthetic sensibility with a keen eye for visual details.
• Desirable skills in photo retouching and packaging design.
• Ability to accept constructive feedback and manage quick turnarounds.
