World Business Lenders, LLC specializes in providing short-term, real estate-backed commercial financing solutions to a diverse clientele of small and medium enterprises across the United States, particularly those that face challenges in securing conventional funding.

The typical working hours are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, although additional hours may be necessary based on operational demands. Proficiency in both English and Spanish is essential for this role. PLEASE NOTE: RESUMES MUST BE SUBMITTED IN ENGLISH TO BE CONSIDERED.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to professional accounting standards and best practices in line with GAAP.
  • Conduct risk evaluations to pinpoint potential areas of risk or non-compliance within the organization.
  • Formulate and implement audit strategies to evaluate the efficiency of internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Carry out audits of financial statements, operations, and processes to guarantee accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory mandates.
  • Document audit outcomes, including deficiencies and suggestions for enhancement.
  • Communicate audit findings to management and offer recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Oversee and follow up on the execution of audit recommendations to ensure that corrective measures are implemented.
  • Engage in additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in English, with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Professional credentials such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint; experience with Teams is a plus.
  • A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • A proactive mindset and strong work ethic.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
