Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Humanitarian Programme Coordinator to join our team in Montevideo, Uruguay. As a key member of our programme management team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of humanitarian programmes in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the design and implementation of humanitarian programmes, including needs assessments, budgeting, and monitoring and evaluation.

• Collaborate with programme staff, partners, and stakeholders to ensure effective programme delivery and coordination.

• Develop and maintain relationships with local authorities, NGOs, and other stakeholders to promote collaboration and partnership building.

• Contribute to the development of programme reports, proposals, and briefs, and ensure timely submission of high-quality documentation.

• Provide technical guidance and support to programme staff on programme management, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), and data analysis.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Development Studies, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of experience in humanitarian programme management, preferably with a focus on refugee protection and solutions.

• Strong knowledge of programme management principles, policies, and procedures.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

• Fluency in English and Spanish.
