What is this position about?
We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to work on the core foundation of a platform that enables brands and retailers to gain a deeper understanding of the cognitive attributes of their online customers. Using AI and NLP technologies, the client analyzes the retailer's product catalog, generating valuable insights that enhance the shopping experience for their customers.
The e-commerce platform has a proven track record of helping several fashion retailers globally to increase their top and bottom-line revenues significantly, with 7 out of the top 25 fashion retailers already benefiting from their platform's capabilities.
- You may work 100% remotely if you are currently living in LATAM, or you can always join us at the officeWhat will I be doing?
- Developing and maintaining a library of machine learning tools (training, configurations storage, etc.) using various frameworks.
- Working with data pipelines and ETL processes to collect, clean, and preprocess data for analysis.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement ML solutions that meet business needs.
- Implementing MLOps practices and deploying ML models to production environments, such as Azure.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of machine learning, including deep learning techniques.
- Communicating complex technical concepts to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
What expertise do I need?
- Studies in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in coding with Python (Pandas and NumPy required).
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD and GitHub Actions.
- Skilled in ETL processes.
- Strong background in SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of ElasticSearch is a plus.
- Experience with cloud technologies, Azure preferred.
- Familiarity with deep learning tools such as TensorFlow and PyTorch is a plus.
- Ability to effectively train machine learning models is essential.
- Exposure to NLP is a plus.

Excellent written and verbal English for clear and effective communication is a must
