**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
**Responsibilities**
- Work with key stakeholders to develop the departmental technology product(s) vision
- Work as part of an Agile team to develop a roadmap for the product(s), translate business needs and requirements, and direct the agile team to the product vision
- Be the key engagement point for the Global Investment Operations teams - specifically focused on modernizing operational processes, analytics, and reporting
- Align with senior business and technology leaders to influence strategy to build new technology capabilities
- Communicate product strategy effectively to key stakeholders and team members
- Ensure delivery of scope, partner with your scrum team to ensure user stories are clear, remove barriers for team members and resolve open issues/questions quickly and efficiently
- Engage the team and gain alignment regarding product strategy and business outcome with a focus on continuous improvement
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with a major in finance, computer science, data science or related fields
- 5+ years of industry experience, with experience as a Product Owner on an Agile team
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) preferred
- Strong investment operations domain knowledge including operations processes, data and technology (Aladdin, Charles River, Markit, etc.)
- Knowledge of Fixed income, Structured Finance (MBS, CMBS, ABS) and Derivative Instruments
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, and experience with the ability to lead and influence at all levels of the organization
- Knowledge of and/or experience with writing effective user stories and acceptance criteria
- Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
- Ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Challenger mindset and passion to challenge status quo to find new solutions and drive out-of-the-box ideas - loves and embraces change
- Excellent relationship management experience, able to carefully manage business expectations with pragmatic and realistic technology delivery
- Experience with setting technology strategy in alignment with business priorities; able to guide and balance both technology and business delivery in line with industry best-of-breed solutions
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while working on multiple tasks with competing priorities both independently and within a team construct
- Good spoken and written English
