Full Stack Engineer

Then keep reading. **About You** You love building great software. Your work could include new feature development, migrating existing features, or developing new APIs. As a Full stack Engineer you'll have the opportunity to support both backend and frontend development efforts. Our client's stack includes Angular for the Frontend and Java 8 for the Backend. You have demonstrable experience working with large projects and are passionate about following best practices. You have hands-on experience with Java services and Java 8, as well as SQL and Angular2+. You have the ability to build RESTful APIs which leverage existing backend services and integrate those APIs within the front-end. Experience with DB2 and JAX-RS will be considered as a plus. You relish creating high quality code from the comfort of your own home. Your responsibilities will include understanding customers' needs and being able to translate product specifications into functional, production ready code. You'll have the opportunity to operate within an agile team that utilizes continuous integration and deployment processes to ship new code with confidence. You love learning. Engineering is an ever-evolving world. You enjoy playing with new tech and exploring areas that you might not have experience with yet. You are self-driven, self-learner willing to share knowledge and participate actively in your community. You are knowledgeable in modern architecture concepts, design patterns and agile software development processes (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe). Overlap with your team is critical when working in a global remote team. Modus requires all team members to overlap with EST morning hours daily.
