Responsibilities:
Responsible for forecasting and ensuring appropriate inventory levels for production. Resolves problems with inventory, production schedules, or materials shortages and implements procedures to avoid future problems. Establishes a balance between vendors and customers based on supply and demand for materials and finished goods. Purchases materials and supplies for delivery at specified time and location. Forecasts requirements, issues periodic reports on trends. Identifies opportunities, frames problems, and drives resolution and continuous improvement.
