**Who are we??**:
Live streaming is a great medium for storytelling - and telling great stories benefits everyone. Whether you're a creator, content marketer, entrepreneur, or just someone with something to say, live streaming is an exciting and effective way to spread your message.

But live streaming tools are very complicated. You shouldn't need to spend thousands of dollars on a computer, or learn about encoding, just to start live streaming. The world misses out on so many great creators because of these barriers.

Dan and Geige thought there should be a streaming tool that anyone could use - a tool that was fun instead of stressful - a tool that was simple, but powerful enough to create engaging content. We wanted people who weren't techy, or who simply didn't want to deal with the hassle of streaming, to still go live, share their stories, and grow their own communities.

And even though StreamYard is simple, techy folks love how powerful it is under the hood, and how effective it is for streaming group discussions.

**The Role and Team**:
You will be joining the Video Services team and contributing to the development of all video-related technologies at StreamYard, whether ingesting and delivering millions of live streams or processing video-on-demand with exciting AI technologies you will have lots of exciting challenges to overcome

**About You**
- Expert knowledge of Node.js and Typescript is essential.
- Good knowledge in one of Kubernetes, Terraform or GCP would be a big plus
- Experience working within a startup environment building and maintaining SAAS products running 24/7 on the cloud
- We don't require experience in video technologies, but we do require you to be a fast learner and show interest in learning things outside of your norm, we wear many hats and are learning constantly
- You will have broken production before and taken amazing learnings from the experience
- Able to be on call 1 weekend per month
- Strong understanding of different software development practices and how each can help shop more value to our customers
- Passion for clean and appropriately tested code
- Excellent Computer Science knowledge

- Eastern Time + 2 to Eastern time - 1

**The Interview Process**:

- 30 - 45 minutes screening call with a Recruiter
- 60 minutes Interview with the Hiring Manager
- 90 minute coding interview
- 30 minute call with the Co-Founder.
