**Freelance Tour Guide - Montevideo**

**About the Role**
Guydeez is looking for enthusiastic locals in Montevideo to join as freelance tour guides. You will lead private walking tours for small groups, sharing the city’s culture, history, and neighborhoods in an engaging and memorable way.

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct walking tours (3-8 hours) tailored to guest interests.
- Share cultural, historical, and local insights about Montevideo.
- Ensure tours run smoothly and provide a safe, enjoyable experience.
- Answer guest questions and provide recommendations.
- Optionally host culinary or themed experiences.

**Requirements**:

- Lived in Montevideo for at least 1 year.
- Fluency in at least one of the following: French, German, Italian, English, Spanish, Portuguese, or Chinese.
- Comfortable leading tours lasting several hours.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous guiding or hospitality experience is a plus but not required.

**What We Offer**
- Freelance/independent contractor role.
- Flexible schedule — choose your working days and hours.
- Compensation: approx. $12-15/hour (equivalent to $100/day depending on tours).
- Performance-based bonuses.
- One-day onboarding/introduction.
