**Vestas Turbinas Eolicas de Uruguay >EVP LAT> SBU LAT Service** **Responsibilities** Coordinate with Supervisors and Lead Technicians during a planned grid outage to establish safe LOTO procedures and related activities. - To be the reference for LOTO and related activities within the organization. - To give electrical professional directives to the nominated persons in control of work activity. - The ECC assists, work close together, reports and if necessary, escalates matters related with energy control and LOTO issues. - To provide internal support for the service organisation in matters electrical safety, turbine inspection and High Voltage (HV). - To organise Tools, Training and work procedures - Give input on how schedule activities to assure the right LOTO procedures implementation on the daily wind farm's activities. - Map and act toward closing the gaps on Service Technicians LOTO and related training gaps. - Review and forward Energized Work Permits to Senior Management for approval. - To conduct site and warehouse inspections to providing safe work procedures. - Maintain the documentation of the qualification for the technicians. - Primary administrative control over all ESP and LOTO paperwork. - Serve as a focal for Electrical Safety and LOTO programs beaing the reference and first line for consulting purposes. - To be the link with MED on LOTO procedures and programs deployments. - To be the first line for technical consultancy on LOTO matters. - Seek assistance from Technical Support, Engineering, and/or Technical Training if unsure about any electrical or LOTO functions. - Maintain site LOTO center and visitor LOTO locks. - To establish and keep Person-in-charge for LOTO evolutions - Establish an induction program for LOTO related topics for new employees. - To keep the track on LOTO related training program status planning in advance the needed training. - Ensures contractor and sub-contractors are in compliance with Electrical Safety and LOTO Programs. - Evaluate differences between Vestas LOTO and Customers LOTO programs and develop procedures when needed. - To standardize LOTO kits by platform within the purchasing process. - To establish procedures to remove abandoned LOTO devices and document said removal keeping the track on this. - Ensure interlock override process is followed correctly and documented. Verify the interlocks have been correctly restored. - Perform monthly audit of lockout practices and maintain these records - Assist Qualified employees in establishing the correct lockout procedures for tasks - Ensure employees are re-trained at a minimum annually, with a track record on the status. - Ensure local LOTO instructions are up-to-date, and validated at a minimum once annually - To develop LOTO and related activities procedures when needed. - To interact with the whole Service organization to implement and follow-up the LOTO procedures and activities. - The Energy Control Coordinator (ECC) must also continue to maintain certification as Qualified Electrical Person as required by the Vestas Standard for Electrical Safety (DMS 0017-5311) and as a Lockout Specialist. **Qualifications** - Wind Industry knowledge and experience. - At least intermediate English language spoken and written. - Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent is preferred. - Skilled Electrical Person with its relevant education, knowledge and experience to enable him or her to analyze the risks and to avoid hazards which electricity could create, is a must. - Very good understanding of Service processes. - Train up to the Level 2 **Localidad**: Montevideo - Uruguay **About Vestas** Vestas is the energy industry’s global partner on sustainable energy solutions.
