We are doing the best work of our lives, building something revolutionary together, while having a blast** **Software Engineering Manager** Marpipe is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to build and lead a remote Engineering team.You will mentor and grow a team of Software Engineers and collaborate with leaders across the Engineering and Product organization. If this sounds like you, come join our fun, caring team here at Marpipe as we create our category defining "Creative Analytics" platform **What You Get To Do**: - Build and lead a high-performing team of hardworking and motivated Software Engineers with high expectations around individual ownership and impact - Set direction for the team, crafting technical and product strategy, as well as anticipating strategic and scaling-related challenges via thoughtful long-term planning - Build new and exciting product features together with our product and design teams - Lead discussions about improving our processes and figuring out the best product ideas - Elevate the status quo and push for higher development standards - Ensure your team delivers extraordinary output, and continuously seeks ways to make an impact - Collaborate with Engineers to help define their career path through challenging growth opportunities - Recognize the value of transparent, honest communication and the necessity of sharing information - Participate with peers and Directors to ensure the organizational structure is a help, and not a hindrance, to getting work done - Continually explore innovative business practices and determine fit for team and company **What You Bring To The Role**: - 8+ years of Software Engineering experience, with 2+ years building and leading a remote Engineering team - Experience with Ruby/Rails, GIT, AWS, as well as Vue.js, React, or similar framework - Passion for developing and - Excellent communication skills (strong written and verbal proficiency in English - Start-up experience a plus, and/or interest in a fast-paced high-growth startup environment, comfortable with ambiguity, able to thrive in organized chaos and constant change without the need for a lot of structure and process - you enjoy figuring out what needs to be done and doing it **About Marpipe**: **Equal Opportunity Employer**: - Marpipe is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment, and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
