**Safety and Health Program Manager**:
Uruguay

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Reports to the Project Manager for project/operational issues and administratively to the Division Safety Manager
- Assist with the development of Activity Hazard Analyses
- Coordinates the project’s safety effort and ensures compliance with safety policies and procedures
- Attends all pre-construction meetings to provide guidance for the pre-planning of work activities, ensure that employees have required training and provides training when necessary
- Facilitate the project safety orientation program and ensure that all employees attend prior to working on-site
- Attend and participate in weekly safety meetings, assist in resolving safety questions and ensure that the meetings are productive
- Perform daily safety inspections of trades/work areas and correct unsafe conditions and behaviors as they are discovered. Submit a written report to the Division Safety Director on a weekly basis
- Conduct a monthly site wide safety stand-down
- Chair the project Safety and Health Committee
- Assists with accident/incident investigation and reviews reports to ensure that investigations are complete and that preventative measures are in place
- Review all safety documentation to ensure records and reports are complete, accurate and submitted per established procedures
- Issue all required permits (confined space entry, hot work, etc.) to subcontractors as necessary
- Coordinate and accompany all project safety audits by the client, owner, insurance or other safety representatives

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Possess either a CSP or CHST
- Minimum five years of experience as a site construction safety manager
- Completed the OSHA 30 Hr.
- Knowledge of USACE EM 385-1-1
- Possesses a security clearance or has ability to obtain a security clearance
