**Main Purpose**:Trafigura Mining Group (TMG) runs Trafigura operational mining assets, conducts technical due diligences and provides technical support to internal and external collaborators. The group is geographically located in several offices in Europe, North America, South America, Asia and Oceana.

**Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities**:
**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure the best standards are applied on operating facilities
- Conduct ad hoc audits as per request of the operations to assess standards, and recommend corrective actions
- Be up to date on new technology improvements in the market to enable sharing with sites
- Act as technical committee member for operations where Trafigura is a shareholder in.
- Periodically develop due diligence projects, being responsible for their tailings management inputs and financial modelling
- Supply quotation and feedback to internal client
- Liaise with internal clients and the company contacts for project under review
- Coordinate team imputes, data room access and data information requests, and site visits
- Metallurgical Parameters
- Plant Efficiency/Capacity/Availability/Utilisation
- Metal Recoveries
- Product Qualities
- Product Production
- Operating cost (Process and G&A)
- Capital cost Schedule
- Add hoc support of technical request from trading desk regarding processing inputs to projects/operations.

**Knowledge and Skills**
- Relevant university degree in mineral processing, chemical engineering, engineering physics or mechanical engineering
- Minimum 15 years of operational experience/consultancy in mineral processing, ideally both hydrometallurgy and pyrometallurgy
- Multi commodity experience
- Experienced from plant projects such as expansions and/or process improvement
- Must be fluent in English, second language is a plus
