**Job Description**:
The Medical Virtual Assistant is responsible for the delivery of services or projects as contracted by the Client. The services or projects include the following:

- Scheduling - Manage the practice calendar by scheduling appointments in advance and sending appointment reminders to patients with upcoming visits.
- Records Management - All information needs to be tracked and recorded for each patient to build an accurate medical history for future diagnosis.
- Insurance processing - Carry out pre-authorization of consultations with insurance or medical aid and complete paperwork of claims.

Qualification:

- Must be Superstar Va Medical Assistant working Remotely.
- Must be a graduate of any medical allied profession.
- Proficient in MS Office; Google Suite, RingCentral or any VOIP systems.
- Proficient in EMR systems like Athena health, Epic, Practice Fusion, and eClinicalWorks.
- Preferably with a medical background.
- Preferably with BPO or similar background experience.
- Knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security practices.
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical, organized and systematic.
- Process oriented and follow strict timelines.
- Able to work with very mínimal supervision.
- Must be a good team player.
