Marco is a Fintech firm focused on financing underserved SME businesses. Given the profitable financing business model and an underserved market, Marco is scaling rapidly. This role will have high impact potential within the Marco team. We are a fast-paced and client-driven organization with offices located in New York, Miami, and Montevideo. We operate cross-functionally on a variety of levels within the business and our clients.
As an Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in onboarding, maintaining and nurturing relationships with our clients. You will be responsible for managing accounts and ensuring client satisfaction, while working with new and established clients to ensure they are informed and taken care of every step of the way.
**Responsibilities**:
- Daily operational responsibilities managing factoring, ABL, Supply Chain Finance and Purchase Order Finance transactions
- Preparing and reviewing backup documentation packages for funding and posting collections in the CRM
- Managing portfolio compliance
- Assist some clients with their collections activities in accordance with the client/debtor relationship.
- Daily interfacing with clients, bank, software providers and internal staff
- Provide important support for operational improvements, modernization, and automation
- Work closely with internal software developers, IT engineers and other operations individuals
**Requirements**:
- **Familiar with industry specific software FactorSoft**:
- 5+ years of proven experience in trade finance operations
- English Fluency
- Above average excel skills
- Understanding of transactional documents required to support funding requests in all trade finance structures
- Ability to work with underwriting to structure operational procedures for new and existing transactions
- Identify policies and procedures that can be streamlined, improved, automated, or even eliminated
- Extraordinary attention to detail and masterful ability to multitask without sacrificing accuracy
- Analytical problem-solving aptitude
