Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall stability, reliability, recoverability, operability
- Implement legacy app migration to cloud (GCP), develop CI/CD pipeline and monitoring in the cloud
- Automate routine tasks
- Analyze and troubleshoot technical problems
- On-call Support
'Must have' skills:
- Good Linux /Unix knowledge
- Linux/Applications monitoring and troubleshooting
- Experience in cloud technologies (AWS, GCP)
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, in a very fast paced environment
- Networking knowledge (DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, Load-balancing)
- Good written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and keep abreast of the latest technological advances
- Familiar with Git
'Nice to have' skills:
- Knowledge of tools like Maven, Ansible, Jenkins
- CI/CD and terraform scripts
- Java (JVM) - general understanding
- Familiar with Rally, Jira, Snow tools
- Experience with:
- Migration of legacy apps to the cloud
- Complex, high-availability systems
- Capacity Planning
- Change Management
- Configuration Management
- Site Reliability Engineering (Google SRE)
- ITSM/ITIL
