- We are looking for an Accounting Lead with a Big 4 background, managing clients from the retail and/or eCommerce industry to join our team_**Expected outcomes & responsibilities**
- Ensuring full compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, statutory and corporate policies, and external audits requirements.
- Leading a team of Accounting Analysts will be responsible for managing all day-to-day accounting functions, the monthly close process, generating financial statements, and developing business insights from accounting information.
- This role has an impact across the company and has an opportunity to help build a global accounting infrastructure to promote efficiency and scale.
- Will be asked to develop and implement innovative solutions and deliver data-driven, insightful reporting that tracks performance and provides meaningful information to management.
- Will also produce external reports such as the annual and interim reports, and support management and other stakeholders across the organization in book-closing and budgeting-related questions.
**Experience/ Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- Excellent spoken and written English is a must
- SOX, IFRS / US GAAP is a plus.
- Professional background working for a Big4 company (Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, and EY) for at least 2 years in a Senior position (External Audit) auditing Retail or E-commerce background.
- Manager or Experienced Senior position (External Audit) auditing Retail or eCommerce companies. A combination of Big 4 experience in a Senior Auditor position and private retail firm experience leading an accounting team is preferred.
- Experience working with ERP systems is highly preferred.
- Experience with Netsuite is a plus.
