Responsibilities:

We are an established Inbound B2B Luxury Tour Operator looking to expand our data team. We are seeking a motivated and skilled Systems and Data Analyst to help us unlock the value of our data and create meaningful insights for decision-making. This role is perfect for someone with a strong technical background and a passion for leveraging data to drive business performance.

As a Systems and Data Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing data using SQL, cloud technologies, and business intelligence tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports. Additionally, you will work with APIs to retrieve and evaluate data, providing insights to guide decision-making. You will also play a key role in gathering business intelligence requirements and translating them into functional data sets and reports, as well as assisting the IT department's business analyst function by translating stakeholders' system enhancement requests into user stories and functional requirements.

• Write and optimize SQL queries, with a focus on Google BigQuery, to extract and manipulate data.
• Manage and maintain Google Cloud Services (GCS) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments.
• Design and implement interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
• Use Postman to interact with APIs, send structured requests, and evaluate responses.
• Perform advanced data manipulation and analysis in Excel.
• Gather, clarify, and translate business intelligence requirements into functional data sets, reports, and dashboards.
• Assist the IT department's business analyst function by translating stakeholders' system enhancement requests into user stories and functional requirements.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable data insights.
• Maintain and improve existing data pipelines, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL, with strong experience in Google BigQuery.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Services (GCS) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Expertise in creating dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience using Postman to test and evaluate API requests.
• Strong skills in data manipulation and analysis using Microsoft Excel.
• Intermediate knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and XML.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with data modeling and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of other cloud-based data platforms or analytics tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a range based on the local market where the candidate would be working. Many factors, such as years of experience, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.

This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company's financial goal achievement and individual performance.
