Job DescriptionAt Syngenta, our goal is to build the most collaborative and trustworthy team in agriculture, providing top-quality seeds and innovative crop protection solutions that improve farmers' success. To support this mission, Syngenta's HR Operations is seeking a HR Continuous Improvement Specialist in Montevideo, Uruguay. This role will be responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
The role requires a combination of technical expertise in process improvement methodologies, strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence change across the North America HR organization. The ideal candidate will be passionate about driving operational excellence and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Accountabilities
- Analyze current business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement process improvement strategies and solutions.
- Conduct value stream mapping and root cause analysis.
- Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities.
- Lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives from inception to completion.
- Monitor progress on initiatives and adjust plans as needed.
- Collect and analyze data to measure impact of process improvements.
- Prepare and present reports on status and ROI for NA HR Operations Leadership.
- Engage HR teams in process improvement design.
- Create documentation and process mapping for standard work instructions.
- Work closely with change management partners to develop strategies to support process improvements.
- Communicate changes effectively and frequently to North America stakeholders.
- Engage with impacted users to gather insights.
- Work closely with North America HR Operations Leadership to prioritize improvement opportunities.
Required
- 3+ years of experience in continuous improvement, process engineering, or related roles.
- Expert knowledge of Six Sigma and/or other process improvement methodologies.
- Strong project management skills.
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish (Mandatory).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in process mapping and modeling tools.
- Change management and facilitation skills.
- Lean Six Sigma Black or Green Belt certification strongly preferred.
