As the PHP Developer in ROKO Labs, you will be responsible for conducting software architecture, design, and coding activities to support new features and functional components. You will be working closely with product managers, designers, QA, and other members of the engineering team.

IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years in enterprise technology development
  • Expertise and experience with PHP
  • Expertise and experience with MySQL or other RDBMS
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML/CSS, REST API
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology, common architectural patterns, and standard development tools (version control, project tracking, collaboration)
  • Advanced level/fluent English is required
  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
  • Extra: Experience working with Vue

GOOD TO HAVE:

  • Experience with AWS services especially microservice architecture
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and Orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases (Redis, ElasticSearch, MongoDB)
  • Knowledge of application development using streaming or message queuing (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc)
