Job Summary

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, with a strong focus on AWS services. You will champion automation, system reliability, and scalability across our development, testing, and production environments, ensuring that our engineering teams can deploy code safely, reliably, and efficiently by applying AWS Well-Architected Principles.

• Design and manage scalable, highly available AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Develop, maintain, and secure CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployment using GitHub and Bitbucket.
• Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of all production services.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to adopt DevOps best practices and ensure robust security via services like IAM and Secrets Manager.
• Ensure system security and compliance by implementing and enforcing appropriate controls and security practices throughout the infrastructure and deployment lifecycle.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using AWS CDK or CloudFormation (IaC).
• Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and production services like Amazon ECS.
• Design and implement serverless architectures, with extensive experience in AWS Lambda.
• Maintain and tune data persistence layers, including operational knowledge of Amazon RDS and DynamoDB (covering performance tuning and disaster recovery).
• Build and secure CI/CD pipelines integrating various code repositories like GitHub and Bitbucket.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues and infrastructure incidents in the AWS cloud environment.
• Document all processes, configurations, and architecture clearly, ensuring alignment with AWS Well-Architected Principles.

• Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of dedicated DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience.
• AWS Expertise: Proven expertise in key AWS services and implementing security best practices (IAM, Secrets Manager).
• IaC: Expert proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK or CloudFormation.
• Containers: Mastery of Docker and production experience with Amazon ECS.
• Serverless: Extensive design and operational experience with AWS Lambda.
• Data Services: Operational knowledge of Amazon RDS and DynamoDB, including performance tuning and disaster recovery (DR).
• CI/CD: Demonstrated ability to build and secure pipelines integrating GitHub and Bitbucket.
• Operations: Practical application of AWS Well-Architected Principles.
• Certification: Holds an active AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
• Bonus: Hands-on experience with advanced AWS services like AWS Bedrock and/or working with AI/ML systems.
