Oracle Database Administrator (DBA)
- The primary focus will be on Dev or production support for database environments
- Database administration (Installation, configuration and management, patching and upgrade of the database environments), Perform Database backup and recovery, Perform Database refresh
- Experience in AWS native Services, RDS and Cloud Security with Good Experience in Oracle DB latest versions and also has the availability to work and handle customer experiences well.
- OS Understanding - Linux and Windows (Must Have). Database/SQL Monitoring and Performance Tuning
- Using database expertise and leadership experience to identify and drive improvement efforts related to our database portfolio
- Provide guidance governance on Database changes. Performing problem resolution for complex issues including root cause analysis, and outlining resolution options
- Automate DB Infrastructure components leveraging understanding of scripting, coding and automation using one or more of the following: PowerShell Chef, Puppet, Ruby, Terraform, OEM or others.
- Maintains technical knowledge on current and emerging Multi-Cloud developments, industry trends, assesses the opportunity, and collaborates with stakeholders to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future strategies
- Work with the third-party support team (on-shore and off-shore) and application support teams to educate and guide them for steady-state supporting database infrastructure related technologies
- Promotes and self-demonstrates of Performance, Leadership, Innovation, Independence, the Individual, Quality, and Integrity
