Employment Type: Full-time Contractor
About VizitVizit is the leader in Visual AI for ecommerce. Our patented Audience Lens™ technology and proprietary Vizit Score help brands predict, measure, and improve the effectiveness of their product imagery and visual content for specific shopper audiences—without relying on surveys.
Vizit’s platform combines real-time content scoring, competitive insights, and optimization recommendations to help brands create higher-performing digital-shelf experiences. Vizit is trusted by many of the world’s leading consumer brands, including Procter & Gamble, Unilever, Nestlé, L’Oréal, and Mars, and is backed by a $25 million Series B led by Industry Ventures, with participation from Infinity Ventures, Brand Foundry, and others.
Role OverviewVizit is looking for a Product Designer to own the end-to-end experience of our Visual AI platform, turning complex image scores, audience insights, and recommendations into tools that brand, creative, and ecommerce teams use every day.
In this role, you will own the product experience for the Vizit platform, shape what gets built alongside product and engineering, and evolve our design system. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, our data science team, and customer success, and you will talk directly with the brand marketers and designers who use Vizit. Your work will directly contribute to faster adoption, deeper engagement, and stronger retention across our enterprise customer base.
This role is well suited to someone who combines strong visual and interaction craft with sharp product judgment, and who is comfortable prototyping with AI tools to test ideas in working form before engineering time is committed.
What You’ll Do
• Own the design of your product area end to end, from framing ambiguous problems through research, user flows, wireframes, and pixel-level polish, then iterating once it ships.
• Partner with product and engineering from planning through delivery, shaping what gets built and not only how it looks.
• Prototype rapidly with AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, Lovable, or Figma Make to test flows and interactions in working form before committing engineering time.
• Bring validated concepts into Figma with full coverage of states, edge cases, and interaction patterns, ready for production.
• Design intuitive ways to present complex analytics, scores, predictions, and recommendations, helping non-technical users understand the results, interpret their implications, and confidently decide what actions to take.
• Contribute reusable components and patterns to the Vizit design system, and keep design files and workspaces organized for the whole team.
• Run lightweight research with brand, creative, and ecommerce users, including interviews, usability tests, and reviews of product analytics, to inform design decisions.
• Present work and rationale to product leadership and customers, and give and receive thoughtful critique.
• Measure success through feature adoption, task completion, and customer feedback, and use what you learn to refine the experience. What You’ll Bring
• 4+ years of experience designing and shipping digital products, with end-to-end ownership of features from concept to launch.
• A portfolio that shows strong visual and interaction craft and the reasoning behind your decisions.
• Experience designing B2B SaaS, analytics products for professional users.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including component systems, variables, design tokens, and interactive prototyping. Able to create production-ready specifications and maintain well-organized design files.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools to rapidly explore product concepts and build interactive prototypes, and accelerate iteration before committing engineering resources.
• Experience building and maintaining a design system, including component libraries, documentation, and handoff with Dev Mode.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end constraints, enough to collaborate closely with engineers and review what ships.
• A record of influencing product direction and tying design decisions to business goals and metrics.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a confident point of view on design.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience designing AI or machine-learning products, especially ways to explain model scores, confidence, and recommendations to non-technical users.
• Familiarity with ecommerce, retail media, or the digital shelf, including Amazon product detail pages and other online marketplaces.
• Experience with consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands, creative agencies, or marketing teams as customers.
• You ship your own front-end code (React, Tailwind) or have worked as a design engineer.
• Data visualization experience for dashboards and comparative analytics.
• Experience with product analytics and research tools such as Mixpanel, Pendo
