The Treasury and Accounting Analyst will play a key role in the finance department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in treasury and accounting operations. This role is responsible for managing cash flows, monitoring bank accounts, and performing financial reconciliations, among other crucial tasks for the smooth functioning of the company.

 

Main Responsibilities:

1. Treasury Management:

  • Oversee and execute daily treasury activities, including cash balance management and cash flow forecasting.
  • Supervise and review financial transactions such as bank transfers, supplier payments, and customer collections, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor bank accounts and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions.
  • Optimize cash management processes to improve efficiency and reduce financial risks.
  • Collaborate in the preparation/update of legal minutes for assemblies or board meetings related to banking matters, board changes, among others.
  • Control and analyze company insurance (e.g., liability, auto, property, etc.).
  • Supervise and control transactions related to the sales force's vehicle fleet.
  • Collaborate with the P2P team (CBS Mexico and Mumbai) in invoice management, payment issuance, taxes, and currency purchases, among others.
  • Work with the C2C team to coordinate current and future revenues.

2. Accounting:

  • Analyze financial transactions, including income, expenses, and assets, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Prepare and analyze necessary adjustments for local books to present financial statements.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements such as the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement, providing key information for decision-making.
  • Coordinate and collaborate in preparing financial reports for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
  • Participate in identifying and implementing improvements in accounting systems and processes to optimize efficiency and the quality of financial information.
  • Collaborate in creating and tracking purchase orders for the finance area (e.g., hiring audit and/or tax services, insurance, among others).
  • Coordinate and collaborate with compliance of local regulations (e.g., submission of various reports: AIN, transfer pricing, among others).
  • Prepare and collaborate on various financial reports.
  • Prepare and analyze provisions or accounting adjustments for different accounts.

 

Requirements:

  • 3 years of prior experience in similar treasury and accounting positions.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting and financial principles.
  • Advanced analytical skills and ability to work with large volumes of data.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.

 

Desirable:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Intermediate/advanced level of English.
  • Knowledge of SAP: FI - FMP is valued.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP / IFRS.
  • Proficiency in Office and Google tools.
