DXC Technology Payroll’s objective is to transform and operate all the payroll and payroll time tracking related processes at a World Class level when it comes to accuracy, cost structure and efficiency. We are looking for talented and motivated individuals to help with that transformation. In the Payroll Project / Process Manager role, you may perform in a variety of roles depending on the project assignment. Project Manager for system implementations, Process Manager for process improvements or focused on process design for system implementations, and Test lead for Payroll/Time projects driven by system changes. This role is part of the Global Payroll Quality and Transformation Team. This role will be based in Costa Rica supporting countries from the Americas region.
Responsibilities include**:
- Coordination and delivery of a project on time, within budget, with required quality and within scope. This includes planning and designing of project, ensuring allocation of resources, controlling and monitoring the progress, resolving issues, ensuring effective MOC and quality assurance, managing communication with stakeholders, managing dependencies and interfaces between projects.
- Monitoring project deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Performing detailed requirements analysis and documenting processes.
- Designing of processes, ensuring the global standards and procedures are being followed and that solutions meet business needs and legal requirements.
- Performing a comprehensive analysis of existing time tracking or payroll processes against benchmark of global standards, ad hoc analysis (change impact assessment of processes, fit gap).
- Identifying of out of scope services and re-defining of time processes
- Coordination of UAT activities during implementation of time tracking or payroll system between local country SMEs, vendor, IT and HR partners.
- Performing detailed requirements analysis, creating test documentation - plans, scenarios, test cases, its prioritization and allocation to resources.
- Monitoring test deliverables and ensuring timely completion of UAT.
- Performing user acceptance testing.
- Defect management with system provider consultants and Process Manager to ensure requirements and project objectives are met.
- Providing guidance and support to Payroll SMEs/testers in terms of testing process, tools and goals.
- Post MTP support to local Payroll Team during hypercare period.
- Coordination of regression testing.
- Ensuring the global standards and procedures are being followed during the testing execution and that solutions meet business needs and legal requirements.
- Identifying and implementing of process improvements, driving automation of end to end processes to improve metrics.
- Improving compliance and control
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- A minimum 4 years of experience in project management as PM, business analyst and/or QA.
- Excellent project management and leadership.
- PMI or ISTQB certification would be an asset (PMP, Agile).
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills, being able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
- Professional experience working in a multi country role
- Superior oral and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and management.
- Ability to identify and enact continuous improvement objectives
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize
- Highly organized self-starter with strong initiative and independence
- Results oriented
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual international environment
- Experience in working in a multi-country, regional or global role
- Fluent English, Multi-lingual experience is required (English/Spanish, Portuguese is a plus)
- Excellent presentation skills.
