About the team
The responsibility of the planning team is to strategically assist the manufacturing department. Working as intermediaries between the different teams within the company. We are in charge of keeping the production schedule of the plant updated, and ensuring its compliance in a timely manner.
The team is always learning and trying to push the limits, relying in part on the large diversity of people’s profiles and backgrounds.
About the position
As a Pilot Plant Planner you will give general support to the Planning team of the manufacturing Plant.
You will be responsible for creating schedules of production, aiding in the communication and coordination of the different production teams, giving support in the interfaces between the Engineering department and the Pilot Plant and tracking the work orders that will be eventually used by Manufacturing to build the Satellites.
Based on your previous experience, you will help the team in optimizing the processes, coming up with new and innovative ideas.
**Location**: In person at Zonamerica, Montevideo at the Manufacturing Pilot Plant of Satellogic.
**Responsibilities**:
Give support to the different disciplines of the plant by assisting to planning meetings and promoting the collaboration and autonomy of the teams
Organize and moderate all the events that involve the different teams of the plant, ensuring that the methodologies are being applied in the best way possible according to the needs of each team.
Detect and remove obstacles in terms of interactions, processes and tools between the teams.
Accelerating and giving priority to the work orders of manufacturing.
Track work orders, ensuring that the needed materials are available before production.
Be the interface between the Pilot Plant and the R&D department.
Give aid to the planning team in general, understanding the processes, the procedures, the capabilities and the internal flow of the supplies.
**Requisitos**:
Experience
Degree or advanced studies in Engineering or similar field of study.
6 months minimum work experience.
Experience in production environments and ERP tools and software (enterprise resource planning).
Proficiency Microsoft Office or similar tools (Excel, Google Sheet, Word, Power Point, etc).
**Skills**:
Strong people skills, strong skills for communication.
Ability to work under pressure and under deadlines.
Capacity to learn continuously and passion for pushing the limits.
Advanced English proficiency levels.
