Rappi is a super-app that sells and delivers anything a customer needs in less than 60 minutes, whether customers want restaurant food, groceries, e-commerce or deliveries in < 10 mins. Our product is currently offered in 9 markets (Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Uruguay and Costa Rica) where we are market leaders in the majority.This role is open for any of the country with Rappi has operations.

**Role Objective**
- As VP Design, you will have complete oversight and accountability for designing the products that millions of customers and hundreds of thousands of merchants and couriers use to save time, build their businesses and put food on the table.
- Alongside Product and Engineering Leadership, you will be responsible for defining the vision and strategy for the design organization and translating it into a clearly defined and executable roadmap. Tasks will include helping the team build proper product discovery practices (eg. research, user-testing), ensuring a high, design operations (eg. design system, design tools) and content (eg. copywriting and translations).
- From the product and engineering organization perspective, you will partner with the VPs of Product and Engineering provide input and drive cross-cutting strategies to continue evolving the organization where it is needed. **Responsibilities**:

- Lead the design organization in defining an overall product vision and strategy.
- Ensure execution and go-to-market excellence of the design roadmap.
- Ensure best practices and design excellence in all your teams.
- Contribute to company-wide strategic goal-setting and execution.
- Increase the quality of your product team by hiring, coaching and performance managing your team.
- Fluent in English (required), Spanish (required) and Portuguese (advantage).
- 8-10+ years experience in Product Design Leadership building high performance teams at scale.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in leading product design at scale, including proficiency in research.
- Strong stakeholder management skills (C-Level interactions).
- Ability to balance strategic thinking, people management with hands-on execution required to build a team.
