Team Description

Sabre Hospitality Solutions is the fastest growing business unit within Sabre, and is rapidly expanding both its product and geographic footprint. Sabre Hospitality Solutions has a comprehensive suite of best in class products that empower hotels and hotel chains to better market and sell their products, as well as manage the guest experience.

The Hospitality Services Team has an opening for Engineering Supervisor position. This position will be part of a large, distributed and tightly knit team dedicated to implementing, enhancing and supporting the core services for Sabre Hospitality Solutions.

What will you achieve?
- Responsible for developing, coding, testing and debugging new highly complex software solutions or enhancements to existing software in a maintenance capacity.
- Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them.
- Resolves user complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
- Demonstrates deep knowledge of technical solutions
- Understands, interprets and translates business requirements into the necessary designs and documentation
- Assures code quality and adherence to coding standards on projects
- May create optimization programs to resolve problems
- Takes part in real Agile submersion
- Lead by example; mentor and be mentored by others.
- Actively participate in product feature and design discussions to help shape products.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Must Have Skills:

- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in software development prior lead experience preferred
- Very Good knowledge of.NET framework (C# language)
- Experience creating web APIs in C# and.NET framework
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles
- Strong understanding of WCF services (REST and SOAP)
- Very Good understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, and best programming practices
- Understanding of relational databases
- QA awareness (Unit Tests, TDD, Performance tests)
- Excellent communication skills in English, written and verbal
