Job Description:

Azumo, a pioneering nearshore software development firm, is seeking a skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer to spearhead the development and maintenance of cloud infrastructure for cutting-edge web, mobile, and IoT applications. This REMOTE position is based in Latin America, offering a unique opportunity for professionals to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the growth of innovative technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Infrastructure Management: Provisioning of infrastructure components, developing and deploying tools for SRE/DevOps teams, and maintaining system documentation.
  • Change Management: Determining and validating new features and updates for managed infrastructure, ensuring site availability, reliability, and serviceability.
  • Support and Monitoring: Handling escalation issues, incident reviews, availability and performance monitoring, and service recovery and emergency response.
  • Capacity Planning: Automated infrastructure provisioning, creation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, Docker images, and automation scripts.
  • Team Support: Deploying applications to production and non-production environments, supporting developers and QA teams during the software lifecycle process.

Requirements:

  • Technical Experience: At least 5 years of experience in SRE/DevOps/SysAdmin roles, with expertise in Linux Systems Administration, Kubernetes, Linux Containers, and Terraform.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Helm, Kustomize, Istio, AWS EKS or GCP GKE, AKS, GitLab Pipelines or GitHub Actions, GIT, AWS, GCP, Azure, Python, Go, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, AWS RDS, and AWS DynamoDB.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a remote environment and contribute to a dynamic team.
