We offer a competitive salary package including a base salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth and development.

Job Description

DevOps Engineer (Datos Team)

At Semrush, we're looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Datos team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our infrastructure and deployment processes. You will be the architect of scalable systems, ensuring our platforms are robust, secure, and ready for the future.

You will collaborate closely with teams across the company to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and enable seamless delivery of cutting-edge solutions. This is your chance to be part of a team where your skills and creativity make a tangible impact every day.

The successful candidate will contribute to the design and implementation of scalable and efficient infrastructure and system architectures, develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud environments, automate infrastructure provisioning, monitor and optimize systems, and oversee operational tasks.

  • Design and implement scalable and efficient infrastructure and system architectures.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support smooth and automated deployments.
  • Manage cloud environments (AWS) and on-premises systems to ensure high availability and scalability.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using NixOS.
  • Monitor and optimize systems using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Oversee operational tasks, including managing service accounts, handling licenses, and ensuring compliance with software agreements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong background in designing and managing infrastructure and architecture for scalable systems. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI), containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), scripting languages (Bash), and cloud platforms (AWS).

Familiarity with ClickHouse and Spark is a plus, while basic knowledge of networking concepts and system monitoring tools is essential. Prior experience in managing operational tasks, such as service accounts, licenses, or vendor tools, is also highly desirable.
