**Portuguese Speaking Social Media Officer - Montevideo**

**The Role**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Social Media Officer to join our fast-growing marketing team in the Latin American region. You will be responsible for managing and developing the activities on core social media channels and to maintain an engaging audience experience and promote our brand.

**The main responsibilities of the position include**:

- Develop, coordinate and execute the company’s social media strategy for a specific region in line with the overall vision and goals
- Manage a strategically-driven social content calendar for the brand in the area of responsibility and coordinate the in-house creative production team for effective implementation of the schedule
- Develop engaging, creative and innovative content for banners, landing pages and social media channels, which engages our target audience and promotes brand-focused messages
- Champion social media across the business and constantly be on the lookout for new trends, channels and initiatives that align with our social and content strategy, including identifying growth opportunities for us in the social media and digital space
- Have a thorough understanding of keyword research and the ability to create new and optimize
- existing content and uncover new opportunities
- Build, grow, and manage our online communities by engaging with users across various social media platforms including Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, Telegram and others, and driving conversations that are relevant to our brand
- Stay abreast of the latest social media trends and leverage these to help improve the company’s online profile and brand awareness

**Main requirements**:

- Degree in marketing, new media or in any other related field
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Very good knowledge of multiple social media platforms
- Exposure to the Brazilian social media audience with knowledge of local culture is a must
- Proven track record of maintaining paid media accounts
- Ability to deliver creative content
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to collaborate and excel in a team environment
- Very good knowledge of Portuguese and English (oral and written). Knowledge of Spanish will be considered an advantage.
