As the Head of Data, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of data management and analytics within our organization. Your role will involve developing and implementing data strategies, ensuring data quality and integrity, and leveraging data-driven insights to drive business growth and decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data utilization, establish data governance policies, and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.

**What you’ll be doing**:
1. Data Management and Analytics:

- Oversee the collection, storage, and management of data from various sources, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Design and maintain data infrastructure and systems to support efficient data processing and analysis.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement scalable and secure data storage solutions.
- Lead data analytics initiatives to extract meaningful insights and provide actionable recommendations to drive business performance.

2. Data-driven Decision Making:

- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and provide guidance on data-driven decision-making processes.
- Identify and prioritize key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure business performance and track progress.
- Conduct data analyses and present findings to senior management, enabling data-driven strategic decision making.

3. Team Leadership and Development:

- Build and manage a high-performing data team, including data analysts, data engineers, and data scientists.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting professional growth and development.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback to team members to enhance their skills and effectiveness.

4. Industry and Technological Awareness:

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data management and analytics.
- Evaluate and recommend relevant tools, platforms, and technologies to optimize data processes and analysis.

**What you'll need**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience (8+ years) in data management, data analysis, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of data governance, data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration concepts.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiarity with machine learning, predictive analytics, and statistical modeling techniques.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a focus on practical and actionable solutions.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
