**Description & Qualifications**:
Description

As a Software QA Engineer, you’ll be embedded on one of our delivery engineer teams. You will be engaged in reproducing and testing customer-found defects, along with writing.NET and SQL test automation. You will get to work directly with other Developers, Quality Engineers, Business Analysts, and our support teams in a highly collaborative environment. You will have the opportunity to grow as a software tester and help instill in others a passion for quality enterprise development.
About the Role:
Job Responsibilities
- Write and execute complex functional test cases and test plans at both the functional and feature level.
- Work with version control software such as (Git, TFS, etc)
- Execute different testing methodologies (Performance, White and Black Box testing)
- Write automated tests using C# or any other OOP (Object Oriented Programming) language and/or automated testing tools (Selenium, TestComplete)
- Develop and execute acceptance criteria for complex technical functionality
- Document test efforts and communicate results to both a technical and non-technical audience

**Qualifications**:
Basic Qualifications:

- Experience with a CI system (TeamCity, Jenkins, etc.)
- Experience with the SDLC
- Experience with event-driven architecture and testing patterns.
- Understanding of Agile or Lean Software Development experience such as Kanban or Scrum

Preferred Qualifications:

- Ability to code complex SQL statements and/or basic understanding of NoSQL databases.
- Self-motivated, positive team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Experience with SaaS (Software as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), and IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) solutions is a plus.

Ability to successfully work within a team and manage a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Positive team player attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High degree of organizational skills
