Finance Manager
**ABB Uruguay**is looking for an** Accounting and Reporting Analyst.**
**Your role and responsibilities**
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support accounting and reporting activities in line with defined strategies, policies, and procedures. Each day, you will be responsible for supporting financial statement preparation, resolving accounting questions, and maintaining transaction documentation. You will also showcase your expertise by performing quality checks on financial reporting data and contributing to internal control processes.
**The work model for the role is**: hybrid
This role is contributing to the **Finance Function** within the **Process Automation division** in **Uruguay**. Main stakeholders are **Finance Manager, business controllers, internal auditors, and global finance teams**.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Supporting accounting and reporting matters to business/reporting units, including resolution of accounting questions and preparation of financial statements.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial reports in compliance with internal guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
- Performing quality checks on financial reporting data, including fluctuation monitoring.
- Contributing to internal control over financial reporting (ICoFR) processes.
- Maintaining transaction documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

**Qualifications for the role**
- Degree in **Administration, Accounting, or related field**.
- You have at least **2 years of experience** in **accounting, financial reporting, or record-to-report roles**, ideally in multinational companies.
- You are highly skilled in **Excel** (mandatory) and **financial reporting methodologies**, with **knowledge of SAP considered a plus**.
- Possess enhanced knowledge of **accounting standards, internal control frameworks**, and financial documentation practices.
- You are passionate about **accuracy, problem-solving**, and **cross-functional collaboration**, and bring strong **analytical and communication skills** to the team.
- You are at ease communicating in **English (advanced level)** and **Spanish**.
